Our Thanksgiving Trip!!

We were able to go to Phoenix, AZ for Thanksgiving this year! We had a blast. We got there on Thanksgiving day at like 2 and then we ate! Then the next morning we headed out to a place called Strawberry, AZ to a cabin. With my brother, his wife and two sons, my sister her husband and 2 daughters, my half brother his wife and 2 kids and my mom and dad and of course Jason and I and Madi. SO needless to say we had a housefull!!! It was so much fun though...... We just played games and we went on a hike to a natural bridge and of course I forgot my digital camera and only had my 35mm so when i get those developed I will put those up. But here are a few pics from our trip......

Don't mind my white trash kid. How sad.... My babysitter was like if I tell you something promise not to get mad. I was like yeah right tell me. Well apparently while she was cooking dinner she asked her 7 year old girl and 10 year old boy to watch Madi. Well she was like Alyssa wants to be a hair dresser when she grows up so she played barbar with Madi's hair. Yeah she cut her bangs. OH MY GOSH!!! I was sooooo upset. So much for having family pics next week before we go to Arizona! Holy cow. I was so mad I was crying. I wouldnt take her grocery shopping with me last night, cuz I was embarassed for everyone to see what a trashy kid I have. SOOOO SAD! And now people are like we want to see pics. I am like NO NO NO!! But of course how could you not blog this?!?

CMA AWARDS

Ok so here we go!!! The CMA Awards was amazing! Jason and I had such a blast! I can't even put into words how much fun it was! It is definitely an experience I will NEVER forget. So we were up on the upper level (which was way fine with me) but the nice thing about it was we were right in front of the stage. Not to the side but straight ahead! So it was even better. In the pics you can see the cables and stuff from when we took pics of the big screen.... I have tons more pics but I had a hard time just choosing these. I know there are a lot but there were a lot of people there!! Then of course I ran out of film when Jamie Foxx came on with Rascal Flatts and also didn't get any of Kelly Pickler, but other then that we got pics of them all. But anyone who knows me knows that SUGARLAND is my favorite! They were up for DUO OF THE YEAR ending a 14-year reign by Brooks & Dunn in that category, broken only once before by Montgomery Gentry in 2000. Sugarland is the first duo with a female member to win the Vocal Duo award since The Judds in 1991. How awesome is that?!? I was so happy for them! They deserve it! Anyways here are a BUNCH of pics hope you have time to look at them all.

No Horsin around!

Jason's Aunt and Uncle have a few horses. So we decided to go out and see how Madi would do. The brown one in the background is the mom and her name is Angel. This black one is a year old and (brace yourself) His name is HILLBILLY!! I was laughin so hard. Cuz that is Jason's family. A bunch of hillbilly rednecks, but they are awesome! Madi was clenched onto me with her legs. She did not want anything to do with the horse. But she saw everyone else petting him so she got up the courage. Then we couldn't get her away! Here are a few pics of her adventure!

So I thought it would be fun to put pics up here of Madi at Halloween last year. It is crazy to see how much she has grown. Looks like she just might be some kind of animal every year! haha. Anyways here are some pics of last year. This year was so much fun to watch her run around and try to keep up with all the kids. Last year we didn't go trick or treating we just hung out in the neighborhood. She was too little to have candy, and Jason was deployed, so that left me to eat it! So I decided it would be best not to go.

This cracks me up cuz she was sayin here doggy! Tryin to get dexter to come to her, but dex didnt know what to think about this elephant!! And everytime she ran her whole body wiggled. It was the funniest thing to watch!

She is ready to go! It's nice to know that I taught my kid one thing so far and that is manners. She went up to every person and said peeeezzzz(please!) Then when we left she said Thank you! How sweet is that!
