Family Pics

So while Kash was here this weekend (see post below) he was willing to take pics of Jason, Madi and I. So here are a few of my favs. Ok a lot of them! There are plenty more but I thought that 14 were enough.. Anyways thank you so much Kash!! We love them!!!

Kash and Cara came and spent the weekend with us. I have been friends with this girl since 6th grade. Ever since I moved we used to spend every spring break together. And then she got married, and then I got married, and I haven't seen her since I have been married. They made it down to our wedding, which was awesome. But when I saw her this weekend, it was like we hadn't missed a beat. This girl is amazing!! It was so much fun to spend time with her and Kash and get to know Kash better too. Even though we did play little league baseball together!! haha I just think that is HILARIOUS!! And it was good for them to get to know Jason too! Anyways here are some pics from our trip to Nashville. Thanks guy for coming to visit us. We had a blast. And you are MORE then welcome to come anytime!!!

Which path would you chose??

I think Jason and Kash might have gone the wrong way!! And don't worry, Kash's hand isn't REALLY touching his butt!!!

Some of downtown Nashville.....

So Jason says I bet I can catch one. But Cara beat him to it and started running after them. She didn't catch one either.....
But here she is trying to sneak up.. Not so sneaky!!
Some homeless guy sleeping. Do you think he peed his pants?? Im just saying?!?

The thrills of living in Tennessee!!

So I have decided that TN has some CRAZY weather. The other week we were at like 70 degrees, so nice outside. Then on Feb 5th we got smacked with Tornadoes. This has been the worst one in over 12 years. It killed 32 or more (im not sure on the exact amount) people just in the state of TN alone.... If you have time, watch this video, it is about 4 min long and well worth the watch.. It made me cry.... It makes me so sad to know that people were killed by this.... The people in TN and all over the place have come together to help out people who lost everything in this storm. We are lucky we didnt get it up here, but I am sure our time is coming. They have just named TN the "Killer Tornado Alley." That is a scary thought. And I am sitting here thinking, what would I do if something like this were to come through here and Jason is gone?? Where would I go? Our bathroom is upstairs so that isn't safe. We have a half bath downstairs and a little closet. But other than that, I wouldn't know what to do. I wish they had some kind of storm shelter that we could run to or something. Oh well. Anyways here is the link to the video..

Also this was the extent of our damage, although this happened a few days later. I thought it was kinda cool though. The tree must have got struck by lightning or something.... And of course I had to take a pic of Madi!!!

This is to just show you how big this branch really is......

Happy 3rd Anniversary

Before he came home... Look how little she is!!!!

Our first family pic since Madi was born. Just notice where Madi's hand is. She is like you aren't goin anywhere now!!!

Jason and I celebrated our 3rd anniversary today. I can't believe it has been that long. Seems like just yesterday that we met. We actually met November of 2003, so we have almost been together for 5 years. But out of the 3 years (36 months) we have been married he was deployed for 15 of it, so we have only spent 20 months together.... Then when our 5th anniversary comes we will have only spent 29 months together. So I guess what I am saying is in the next 2 years we will only be together for 9 months of that. Crazy army life we lead.... Anyways here is to another few years! I thought I would put some pics up from when he came home last time. ...... I love you babe!!!

Another day with the girls

Sandra, Jason's mom, brought up Aleah and Alyssa to spend the day with us today. We had a blast. We took the girls bowling and they loved it. We ate lunch there and then bowled away. One advantage to living on post and being in the military is that bowling is SOOO SUPER cheap... Its great.
