We are now in ALASKA!!! Wow its been a CRAZY, to say the least, last 2 months.... We left Fort Campbell, KY on Aug 2. We got to Anchorage, AK on Sept 1. I hate living out of suitcases. We got to do a lot of fun things along our way though and it seemed like everyday we were somewhere new!! Here are the pics to take you through my journey!!

K well we are gonna go a little backwards cuz I already loaded all the photos and I am NOT about to redo them!!!

Obviously we made it!! And of course had to get our picture with this sign. Interesting thing about this we met a guy there. On his bicycle (the kind you peddle not a motorized one) and we were like so where you coming from cuz there is NOTHING around. He said I have been traveling from Montana and I am heading to Anchorage. He had been on bike for about 3 weeks by that time... HOLY COW!!! ALL he has was his bike and some things on the back of it. Talk about CRAZY!!!! But I am glad he was there cuz we got a photo of all 3 of us at the sign!

We got to Fairbanks, AK (where we lived before KY) and stayed with my friend Kate. I lived with Kate for a bit while Jason was deployed and Madi made a life long friend! She was so glad to see "Her Aiden" again!!

We went to North Pole, AK to the Santa Claus house!!

K this is in Idaho. This was our last stop to see family before we headed out on our adventure. We got to spend a week there! I was excited to be able to help my Grammy Lyon(dads side) move into an assisted living center!! That is the reason we stayed as long as we did. I am glad we stayed though and got to spend time with her. We stayed with my Grandma Marsden(moms side). I loved it though because they only live like 1/2 mile from each other, well farther now that we have moved Grammy Lyon. But going to grandmas house was always fun as a kid cuz we usually always got to see both of them in one trip!!

These photos were taken by Shelley Freckleton http://www.freckletonphogography.blogspot.com/!! I am amazed at how talented they are getting!!!

My cousin Natalie made a bunch of bows for Madi and they are so dang cute!!!!
My grammy lyon and her new place (it was still being organized at this time!!) Madi just adores her great grammas i think its awesome!!!

Me and my Grammy Lyon!!! She is such a fun spirited woman and I love her dearly!
My grandma Marsden. I love madi's face in this photo. This is how she ALWAYS was around her grandma!!! Well technically these are her great grandmas!!! haha
We got to stop in Boise and stay the night with my cousins. It was the last stop before we hit the road hard!!!

This photo is in Seattle, WA. We went to Pikes Market Place and Madi LOVED all the huge flowers that were there!! She was so excited when her daddy got her one. She held it proudly!!

And we made it to British Columbia.. It was dark outside when we got there!!

This was the next morning. Needless to say it was cold! We did not pack stuff for cold weather!

We went camping in BC one night and Madi loved the mallows!!! She pounded em!And this is her face. I tried to get a cute one of her smiling but I have like 10 pics of 10 different faces she gave me. This was the cutest! haha
Yet again CANT smile
Believe it or not she is really good about pouring stuff out. She just plopped right down and helped herself to some chocolate milk!!

So this is where the blog should have started!! If you are still with me great!!! These are some of the most amazing friends a girl could ask for. This is the group we hung out with most. This was at my going away party. There is Stephanie, me, Shawna and Heather. There is one missing in this photo so I put a pic of her below! She missed this photo op so I added her below!!

This is Chelsea!!!
This is me pretty much the whole truck ride... Man it was a long and boring drive!!!

We finally made it to Arizona and Madi just LOVES her gramma and papa.... She had many tea parties with her gramma....
Papa and Madi. I love the way they interact with each other. So fun to see my parents be kids again. I guess i didnt appreciate it much when I was a kid! haha
We went to the Science Center in Phoenix. Seems that madi is 3'4"!!
Showin Madi how these things dance to the music
Yes this thing is made of legos! Sooo cool!

We got to go over to cali and see my brother and his family. Of course we had to hit the beach! We had a bonfire that night with some bbq food that was SOOOOO delioush!!!

Madi loved the water. She got in, got taken under and didnt even scream. She loved seeing if she could outrun it though! She had a blast!!!Jason got taken down good by a wave im sad i didnt have my camera ready... he got knocked down. so Amelia taught him how to do it since he had never been before!

When we were in Idaho we went to Yellowstone. Jason had never seen it and its been a long time for me!

Oh excuse me are we in your way... Come on across its ok though cuz we have brakes!!!Picture compliments of Madi! I just liked how you could see the sky in my glasses! There it is. Old Faithful!!!Had to take this photo!

I dont blame anyone.....

I dont blame anyone if they have stopped following me!! I have been such a slacker. But with us having no internet, living in a house for just a few short months I kind of let the blog slip away. I have a photo blog, a weight loss blog and a blog I am doing with other people to be healthy. So between all this I have let my personal blog go....

Jason and I are officially homeless!!! We are now staying with our friends until we leave. We leave here HOPEFULLY on August 2nd. That is depending on if Jasons stuff from Afghanistan gets here in time. He has stuff in the conex's that he needs to turn in to be able to clear the post. I dont know how many of you know what it takes to clear a post, but it takes A LOT. He has to go to almost every building on post and make sure that he is in "good standing" with them and have them sign off that he is. That includes the banks, the PX the comissary and everything. Yes it is tedious but I love that they do that just to keep people honest! haha. So as long as his stuff gets here and he can clear the post we will leave Aug 2nd. I want to leave then so we will make it in time for my moms birthday, which I havent been able to be there for it in about 8 years....

Then its off on our adventure to ALASKA!! I cannot believe we are going back. Whoever thought 6 years ago this month I moved to Alaska to be a Nanny and ended up meeting Jason. I figured I was gonna live 3 years there with the family and never go back. Boy was I wrong. I am really excited about Anchorage though. I have only been there a couple times but I loved it every time except for one and that was when Jason and I got in our accident that I will NEVER forget... But we have some friends that are stationed here now who are from there and are actually getting stationed up there as well (if that all made sense) they are gonna tell us the good parts of town to live and take us to all the fun places. One thing for sure I get to stay away from the Chocolate Fountain!!!! Yeah mom and dad you know what I'm talkin about!

When we leave TN we are heading to Arizona for a few days, then to Cali for a few, then to Utah for a few, then to Idaho for a few then onto Alaska we go. We are going to go through Washington this time. We are gonna camp for a few days up in that area too. I am really excited for the trip. It seems like a lot but we have 40 days to do it in! That will give us a nice break from the road and a nice break for Madi!! I will post pics in a few days before we take off... I am gonna learn how to blog from the road too!!! Maybe even start up a new project called PROJECT 365!!

Signing off for now....

Last Few weeks

We had Aleah and Alyssa for the last 2 weeks. What fun kids they are. We had such a blast. Madi loved having other kids around 24/7 to play with her!

Jason took Aleah fishin one night and this is what they came back with. We had a fish fry that night and man was it SOOOOO good!! Catfish sure are ugly but they sure taste good!

Aleah with the fish! She was so excited! She is such a country girl!
Madison is the only one that would hold the fish though. What does that say? She is braver than her mom!!
Madison on some big bouncy toys!
This is what the girls pretty much looked like while they were here. Sunglasses and swimsuits!

This is how Madi fishes.... hahha

WARNING PICTURE OVERLOAD!!!!

This is gonna be the motherload of all posts!! Grad a drink and maybe even a snack. Lots of pics to see!!!!

Well Jasons Granny passed away the day after mothers day. She was such a sweet little lady... Jason got to wear his Class A's which I might say he looks very handsome in and he was a pall bearer. Madi has gotten so big I can't believe it..... The funeral was in East Tennessee or Knoxville... haha

You know who else has gotten big?? Aleah and Alyssa.... They are awesome.....
Nana and Madi
After the funeral we drove another 9 hours to Virginia and spent a few days with my sister Mandy. The 3 girls had so much fun together. It was an awesome trip and we had so much fun. Mandy cooked some amazing meals and has the cutest house. She needs to come decorate my house!!

Here is Hailey Madi and Livy on the Metro... When we were driving to VA Livy asked Madi are you on the metro or in a car. Thought that was pretty cute!
Jason Madi and I at Arlington. I have the deepest respect for this place. Being an Army Wife I cannot imagine going through what a lot of families have. I didn't realize how big this place was and how many headstones were there but there are no words to describe how I felt here. It was cool cuz when we walked up to the Tomb of the Unknown Soldiers they were doing the Changing of the Guards. It was cool to see that happen....

My kid is a goofball
She didnt know what to think about the Metro
Eating Ice Cream. It was very hot that day, even Jason joined in....

Mandy watched Madi one day while Jason and I went to "the mall" this was us pretty much the whole time. We even managed to get lost. We finally looked around and said hey there is no one else around us... We prolly walked 10 miles that day! It was way fun though!
Livy and Madi on the tramp
Madis first time playing with playdoh. Bad mom award for that Madi would have played for hours if i let her. She LOVED it. and yes since we have been home guess who has invested in playdoh!!!

These next pics are at the zoo

At our house we have woods in our backyard where we see deer every night. At least 10 min.... Dexter doesnt know what to think about them he is usually barking at them. But I walked out the other night and they were having a stare down. Finally dexter took off after the deer thank goodness he was tied up!!!

Hot Spring Day

Madison caught her first fish. Her daddy took her out fishing and she wants to go ALL the time now....

The end. I will be better about posting I swear!! Look out for camping pics to come soon!!!
