So everyone wants to start the new year off right, right?? Well my "new years resolution" this year is to lose 70 pounds. Thats right count them up. I have 70 pounds to lose. Sad I know. Some of you are probably thinking how could you let yourself get like that. I dont know what happened. Im sure I could make up every excuse in the world. But the fact of the matter is, I want to be healthy. I have a short term goal and long term goals. My first goal is to lose 32 pounds in 12 weeks. I think that is attainable. My husband leaves for Afghanistan beginning of March, and I want some GOOD family pics done before he leaves. I have always been bigger then him, and that is my long term goal.... To be smaller than him and be able to fit his jeans (even though I wouldn't wear them!!) He has less then 12 weeks, but that is a good place to start. I am going to try body for life..... We will see how it works out. So I might be posting everyday or less then that. This blog is going to start being my journal for weight loss. Of course I will still put other things up, but this is a HUGE part of my life right now and I want to keep track of it... So here are some before pics, that are HUGE motivation pics for me!!! If anyone has any suggestions, comments, advice I am open and listening!!!

Hey - I am right there with you! Go Heather! I have 30 to lose so we can be journal buddies! Life is life, but we can do it! I think you are beautiful no matter what though, but I am glad you want to be healthy - it is a good goal. Love your guts!
Oh my gosh...I am doing Body for Life too!!! I just started last week. My roommate did it in college and she lost a ton and has been able t keep it off! She said that the best thing to do is get on a schedule and don't totally cheat on the diet! Too bad you don't live here in AZ, or we could go to the gym together!!! We will have to keep each other motivated!!

You go girl! I know you can do it... I remember reading an article one time about fiber... it said that if you got the recommended amount of fiber every day that you would loose weight... that is what we are going to try. We haven't started... we're being bad... there is a contest that Hubby has entered for weight loss that starts on Wednesday, we don't want him to loose any weight before the competition starts! We'll have to swap recipes!

You can do it! Focus on the positive, start everyday saying "I am thankful for my healthy, beautiful body" and say it often through out the day. Do not give yourself any negative self talk. Think healthy, and eat healthy. Think happy and be happy. Love that your body is strong and able. And it will get better and better and easier and easier!
So going to the casino?! Sounds good to me! Lol, I forgot yall were gonna go on new years! Well hopefully I got a job finally today, so I'll really be able to go!
Yeah we were thinkin about it, but its hard to spend money when you don't have it! haha.
